What is FlexTracer
FlexTracer is a powerful tool that traces various application
calls — from Windows API functions to Oracle Call Interface. FlexTracer creates
history log containing names of all invoked functions, their parameters, results and
execution time.
FlexTracer is flexible. Unlike other tools, it can show you not only memory dumps
and register values, its main IntelliTrace feature enables you to get the advanced
view of traced data, for example, SQL-statement instead of its handle used in function
call or to see the symbolic names like OCI_SUCCESS instead of its numeric
value.
FlexTracer was originally designed to trace SQL-queries. FlexTracer supports various
RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase, MySQL, ODBC and ADO. With this tool you
don't need to have the administrator privileges on your database server or ask your
database administrator for help or to browse long trace logs every time when you want
to know what your application does. You can trace Windows registry and file routines
as well.
If you have ever tried to find out which operations are executed in your
application and which of them take much time — FlexTracer is for you!
